RAAI selected as architect for new Welland Community Boathouse

Raimondo + Associates Architects Inc. (RAAI) has been selected to lead the design of the new Welland Community Boathouse, which is to be constructed out of shipping containers. The new 360 square-metre facility, to be located at the Lincoln Street Docks, will use around 19 shipping containers, of varying sizes. The Welland council has approved of the project and RAAI will proceed with design development. This exciting project will evoke environmentally concious ideas and will further pioneer this construction method for the Niagara Region. Read more here
