Immaculate Heart Of Mary Catholic Church
Completed in 2008 this new 26,650 ft2 church in Winona was built on the site of the existing church on Highway 3 and is designed to hold 700 persons. The design of the church, complete with attached rectory and assembly hall, and bell tower resembling an old-world structure complimented with modern materials such as glass curtain wall in stone veneer and arched openings. The church also has an attached 2150 ft2 rectory for the pastor to allow access to the building without going outside. The 3300 ft2 Hospitality Room is designed with a full commercial kitchen and allows seating for 250. The project included co-ordination with the Catholic School Board in a shared effort to reduce the site costs by combining a new elementary school and the church. |
