St. Alexander’s Roman Catholic Church
This new Catholic Church, completed in December 2001, represents almost eight years of collaborative work with the Diocese and the Parish of St. Alexander. Considered to be the premiere Catholic place of worship in the Niagara Peninsula, if not the province, its design is grounded in the long standing images of traditional places of worship. This traditional imagery is complimented by contemporary design elements such as an all encompassing vault above the worship space that delineates an abstract crucifix over the processional path to the altar.
