Fort Erie, Ontario
Constructed on the site of the old Fort Erie Town Hall in 1996, this courthouse was designed with sensitivity to the urban context as well as state of the art infrastructure. Programmatic components included judges’ chambers, maximum security holding cells, a prisoner transfer garage as well as the courtroom itself. All finishes including custom millwork throughout were detailed by RAAI.
