Completed in 2007, this retrofit was designed to upgrade the interior and exterior of the school. The exterior received new landscaping and hard surfaces at the two main entrances off Catharines Street and a new entrance from the rear parking lot. All entrances were made barrier free accessible. The existing parking lots were also re-configured and re-paved. Inside, all the corridors, along with several classrooms, received new ceilings. Several interior and exterior doors were replaced. All lockers were either replaced or received new doors. The theatre was completely updated and received new seating, painting, flooring and the stage was reworked. Much of the project evolved around servicing the new mechanical and electrical needs, such as a new third floor penthouse and a new exterior access from the renovated boiler room in the basement. Most of the school was re-painted and many exiting wood trims and doors were refinished to restore the building to its original appearance.
