Raimondo + Associates Architects Inc. (RAAI) was established with a solid commitment to a style and philosophy of practice that is somewhat unique. Evolving from its predecessor firms of Watkinson Associates Architect Inc. and Piraino + Raimondo Associate Architects Inc., the firm has amassed over twenty years of experience with retaining files and drawings of various project types and complexities. Our approach stresses the team effort, ensuring that all parties are involved from the very outset of each project, including the Client, as a vital part of the 'Design Team'.
While it is true that the client relies on the professionalism and the expertise of his architects to form the balance of the Project team, the Client brings his/her own intimate knowledge of the operational and functional requirements for the project. These requirements are best expressed by his/her participating actively in the programming and design process, analyzing the issues along with the professionals, and reacting to proposed alternatives. Clients are guaranteed that their project will be overseen by either the president or an associate of the company.
Our firm now has a depth of staffing unsurpassed in the Niagara Peninsula. The majority of our full time staff are of an intermediate or senior level, with experience levels ranging from 16 to 30 years. We have never advocated simply having access to a large number of junior or transient staff, and believe our clients and projects have reaped the benefits.
