A Closer Look at the Progress on The Niagara 2021 Canada Summer Games Park

September 25, 2020

Construction on the Niagara 2021 Canada Summer Games Park has been making great gains in the past few months. With the recently announced postponement of the Niagara 2021 Canada Summer Games to the summer of 2022, the architectural team of MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller (MJMA) and Raimondo + Associates Architects (RAAI) continue to work on the project with construction still moving forward. This week construction on the 212,400 square foot facility has progressed on several fronts including the installation of pre-cast concrete panels on the exterior, erecting of the massive steel canopies and further advances on the running track.

Located next to Brock University's main campus, the Canada Games Park will be the central hub and venue for the Niagara 2021 Canada Summer Games in Niagara.
