Butler's Bar and Grill, formerly known as 'Sporty's', is a popular local gathering place for residents of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Completed in 2016, renovations consisted of the addition of a new Wood/Gas Fired Pizza oven and full-service kitchen. The scope of work also included a facelift of the washrooms, new Luxury Vinyl Tile throughout, new fixtures, and bar details. Maintaining and re-working some nostalgic pieces of history were carried out in the design. The existing bar was given a new life with specialty laminate panels inset into the painted wood trim details. Faux brick veneer clads the back of the bar and surrounds the new Wood Fired Pizza Oven to give the oven a sense of presence in the space. The design focused on maintaining the local pub feel that was well appreciated while creating a new comfortable environment for patrons of all ages.
