Niagara Falls Fire Station No. 6
Niagara Falls Fire Station No. 6

Niagara Falls, Ontario

Completed in 2006, this 8,800 square foot facility was built next to the aging facility on Schisler Road in south/west Niagara Falls. The site was a challenge due to there being no water, sanitary or gas services so cisterns were designed for both portable water and firefighting purposes and a septic bed installed to the east. The hall itself is a volunteer station and contains a large training room that can hold up to 150 persons, as well as a full kitchen, lounge, offices, washrooms, gymnasium as well as a double apparatus bay to hold 4 vehicles. The construction is concrete block with architectural block and metal siding finish with a metal roof system.
