This high-profile project was completed in six and a half months during the winter of 1998 and spring of 1999. The iconic design and 'dome' shape of the building became instantly recongizable as one of the first structures visible when crossing the Rainbow Bridge entering Canada from the United States. As of 2017, Planet Hollywood has closed down but is currently undergoing design development as the site of a new attraction.
