Completed in 2006, the Tim Hortons on Clifton Hill is one of Canada's largest and is a major component of the Clifton Hill tourist district. The building was built on the site of a wax museum that had been on Clifton Hill since the 1950s. When a new wax museum was constructed to replace the original one, the building was demolished and a new mixed used building, which includes Tim Hortons, was constructed over the winter months and opened for tourist season in 2006.
